Privacy Policy
Most tool data stays on your device; exceptions are disclosed where they occur.
Our Privacy Promise
SimpleToolset follows a local-first and data-minimizing approach. Most tools use client-side JavaScript and keep inputs on your device. A limited set of tools must contact a network or external service; those tools identify the data flow on their pages.
How Client-Side Processing Works
When you use any tool on SimpleToolset, here's what happens:
- You select or paste your data whether it's text, images, PDFs, or other files.
- Processing happens locally your browser's JavaScript engine handles all transformations, conversions, and calculations right on your device.
- Results stay with you for local tools, the output is generated on your device. Network-assisted tools return data from the service disclosed on the tool page.
Sensitive documents and private text stay in browser memory when you use a local tool. Before using a network-assisted tool, review its disclosure to understand what data is sent and to whom.

No User Database
SimpleToolset does not require registration, login, or any form of account creation. We don't maintain a user database because we don't need one. Every tool works instantly without any sign-up process.
This design choice isn't just about convenience - it's about privacy. No account means no stored personal information, no password to protect, and no data breach risks.
Local and Network-Assisted Processing
Most tools run in your browser using client-side JavaScript, so their inputs do not need a server upload. IP lookups, social-media downloads, and features that use an external provider require a network request. Each affected tool must disclose that behavior on its page.
Third-Party Services
We use limited third-party services to operate the website and to support the specific tools that require external data:
- Hosting: Our static files are served through a content delivery network (CDN) for fast loading worldwide.
- Analytics: We use privacy-focused analytics to understand general usage patterns without tracking individual users.
- Advertising: We may display non-personalized ads to support the free operation of these tools.
- Tool-specific services: IP lookups, social-media downloads, and optional external-provider features may send the requested address, URL, or input to the provider named or described on the tool page.
